Michael Steven Harris

Michael told us ""Brighton based photographer specialising in landscape astrophotography and recently Highly-Commended in the world-renowned 'Astronomy Photographer of the Year Awards' by the Royal Museums Greenwich for my photo ‘Aurora Borealis over Brighton Seafront’! Whilst my number one passion is capturing all the wonders that the night sky has to offer, I also love to photograph all of the beautiful sights and scenery of this fantastic city. In 2024 I was shortlisted in both the Street and Low Light categories for the prestigious British Photography Awards; I received the People's Choice award in the South Downs National Park Summer and Astro Photography competitions; won Outdoor Photographer Magazine's Astro Landscapes competition and was a finalist in the CIOB's Art of Building competition. I was also awarded the Artists Open Houses 'Photographer of the Year Award’ in 2023."
