GC Amazing Birthday Greeting Card

Birthday card illustrating various maze designs. Printed in England on a light cream, 300gsm carbon-neutral Italian paper, made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste.

Adapted from an illustration in an early 20th-century encyclopedia or ‘book of knowledge’, drawing on WH Matthews’ Mazes and Labyrinths (1922). The drawings represent hedge and turf-cut mazes such as Hampton Court and Somerton in Oxfordshire as well as tile labyrinths on cathedral floors and designs published in books by CA Boeckler, (1664), JV de Vries (1583) and C Commelyn (1676).

Greeting cards170mm x 120mm (approx. 5” x 7”) and blank inside, individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper made from plants, with a 100% recycled, 110gsm kraft envelope.
