The Kaweco DIY Sport is made up of 7 components - the number of individual parts that are used to make the Kaweco Sport fountain pens. In contrast to fully automated machinery, these writing instruments are assembled by hand every day in Kaweco’s factory in Nuremberg.

With the Kaweco DIY Sport, customers can explore the manufacturing process and assemble their own Kaweco fountain pen by hand. As well as having a pen that is only available to purchase in a physical retail shop!

At the beginning of each year, Kaweco are planning to introduce a pen colour that will be available as an event box for one year. For 2025 the colour is Emerald Eve, but keep your eyes open as we are bringing back the gorgeous 2024 colour, Berry!
