The name of this design edition refersto the pen’s special lacquer finish. 
The colour progression is sprayed byhand and subsequently sealed with a clear protective coat. This process
gives these writing instruments their unique look, as no two pens are alike:

The Drehgriffel of the Gradient Edition is a ballpoint pen (Nr. 1) crafted from precision-milled aluminium and brass.
